I’ve spend the last couple months working with my cover designer to make a slight change to my book covers. This is one of the pros and cons of indie publishing. Pro: changing my covers whenever I want. Con: the work of changing the cover (we all know I’d rather be writing).
Why did I want to make the change, you ask? I felt like my author name wasn’t standing out enough on the covers. What does that matter? Well, if one of my readers is browsing Amazon, iTunes or wherever for a new book, I want them to be able to recognize my author name in case I have a new release they didn’t know about–a shocking thought since they should be signed up to receive my NEWS posts, right?!
Since I didn’t want to change the overall look of my covers, my only choice was to change the font. So I did. After fiddling with many flavors, we came up with a new look I loved – yay!! Hope you like it, too.
Now, back to work on License to Date (Better Date than Never, Book #6), which will be released October 1, 2013. Happy reading to all!!
